    • Ah, yes. People have often compared me to Ansel T. Walling, who worked in the newspaper business before becoming a Democratic U.S. representative from Ohio. Myself, I’ve never really like Ohio, but I can understand why people see a resemblance.

    • Thanks, and although it was a rollover accident, he wasn’t hurt too badly, just in case you’re worried about him.

  1. Ahhh, a new piece of your personality and talents. The third pic describes a dedicated parent to me. In my case it was a softball bag and summer heat, but still….

  2. I like the boat dock, too. The firefighters peeing is a bit much, though.

Very nice photos, Mike! Great composition, mood, etc. Some people have a gift. I assume you have many photos and hope you share them here now and then…or maybe start your own photo blog if you don’t already have one.

    • Peeing! Funny! I’ve often thought it looks that way, too.

And thank you. Some people do have a gift, and I’m very jealous of them. But, in the spirit of not having to be the best at the things I do, I’ve decided to post some of my favorite photos anyway.

    • Thanks, Leeuna. I don’t think I’m ready for National Geographic, but I enjoy photography a lot and thought I’d post of few of my favorites.

  3. Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.

    • I used a software program called Artisteer to create my entire blog on the WordPress platform. The buttons were customized using that software. I don’t think the search engines care if you change the look of your blog, but don’t mess with the tags and categories too much. Those are important.
